I know he was really frustrated on the night because the sound system at the venue was so rubbish - a traffic light system to prevent him from going above a certain volume, which was annoying because apparently the songs were recorded at different volumes.. It was much quieter than we or he would have liked - all down to the venue's limitations unfortunately but that didn't matter at all - he definitely got people up and dancing and did a really fantastic job. Everyone was raving about them during and after the party saying how they'd never been to a wedding where from the very first song until the very last the dance floor was packed, and it wasn't as if it was a small area at Rhinefield! "Hi Ali, Andy was great - so many people commented afterwards on how good he was. He really judged the mood right and the dance floor was packed all evening with people having a great time. People seemed so reinvigorated when the evening do kicked off, which is a bit of a rarity and I think in no small part due to Andy. When I spoke to him on the night (although I may have been a little drunk by that point!) he was so nice. Definitely would recommend him for other couples especially ones with diverse music tastes like us. Loved the set up he did - overall he was superb! Simon the pianist was good too - I hadn't really registered the information that he was going to take a few breaks during the drinks reception (which was fine) it's just that every time I ran into him he didn't seem to be at the piano and the reception drinks weren't that long. But that said, nothing really to complain about - he was really good, sharply turned out, he played very nicely during both the ceremony and the drinks and I was glad he played Clare de lune again when we were signing the register because my brain just didn't focus enough to hear it when we walked down the aisle so it was nice to hear it again. "We had James H from Stylish Entertainment, DJ our wedding a few weekends ago and we couldn't have been happier. It was one of the best decisions we made to book him. We had discussed the music we liked but the set on the night was better even than we could have hoped. He read the crowd perfectly, mixing everything from ska punk to DnB to pop. The dance floor was packed all night - we will certainly be booking him again. The communication beforehand with Ali and Nigel at Stylish and James H was great (to talk through the details of what we wanted / the types of music we liked/disliked). On the day, James was there early to set up and was very flexible about shifting timings on the night. He also worked around a sound limiter while mixing live without a single problem on the night.
